Phicap Group has successfully announced the acquisition of the activities and commercial contracts of RPhi Management by its subsidiary Phicap Project. This strategic transaction further bolsters the expertise of Phicap Group in the education sector, demonstrating the group’s one-stop-shop position in property management services as well as in the various categories of collective facilities.

The contracts acquired in the education sector represent projects totalling over €40 million and will be completed between 2024 and 2027. More than just an acquisition, RPhi Management and Phicap Project have agreed on a partnership and will work side by side to ensure a smooth transition as well as the sourcing of new opportunities in this field.

This acquisition will enable Phicap Project to expand its portfolio, focusing in particular on energy renovation projects and the construction of new school buildings, especially within the subsidised Catholic free network. These projects comprise schools at the nursery, primary, and secondary levels, underscoring the group’s commitment to improving the educational infrastructure and facilities in Belgium and the teams’ mastery of subsidy plan requirements such as the Regional Recovery Plan (RRP) or the Exceptional Investment Plan (PIE).

These projects are in addition to the numerous recent or ongoing projects that Phicap Project is carrying out in education. Examples include the school located in the new Petite-Ile – City Gate II district in Anderlecht with the Brussels Capital Region Housing Corporation (known by the French initials SLRB), the Oude Dokken school complex for Sogent in Ghent, the ATIS-Solbosh project for the French-language Free University of Brussels (ULB), and the renovation of the library of the University of Namur.

Michael Goldberg – Phicap Group Founder and CEO, expressed his satisfaction: “I am delighted that we have been able to reach an agreement with Philippe Rassart. We share the same values and, together with the teams of Phicap Project, we can reassure their clients that their projects will continue to be managed professionally. A few months ago, we celebrated our 10th anniversary. I expressed my desire to continue to run an integrated, modern company which looks to the future. This is even more the case today than it was yesterday.”

Etienne Bruant – Director of Phicap Project, added: “We are delighted to deepen our expertise in the education sector, to advise and support new clients, and to help improve the quality of school infrastructure and facilities for hundreds of schoolchildren and students in Belgium. Philippe Rassart has acquired significant expertise in this field and we are proud to be able to preserve and develop it.”

Philippe Rassart – CEO of RPhi Management, confirmed this shared vision: “I could not possibly have found a better ally than Phicap Group to continue the various ongoing projects. We have a shared vision, and the expertise of Phicap Project in Project Management Assistance, particularly in school buildings, is beyond question.”
